Winning is so much fun :)

I've been the lucky winner of three giveaways lately!!! I love winning things...especially when they're as great as these items!

I actually won two giveaways from the same person...from two different blogs. From Tina's GFTDesigns blog, I won these gorgeous earrings!!! I was even lucky enough to get them in one of my favorite colors!!!

I also won a great package of eco-friendly products from her Haeven blog! It came with Linen Spray, Laundry Detergent, and an amazing smelling Sachet! I just can't get enough of that Sachet...in fact I'm sniffing it right now!

I was also lucky enough to win another pair of wonderful earrings from Tiffany at FabulousChicDesigns! These are really cute and in a color I didn't already have! I love adding new items to my ever-growing jewelry collection!!!

Summer is still here :)

As many of you have Back-to-School on the brain...I'm here to tell you that summer is still here! Well, it still is at my house anyway :)

One of our blog carnival choices from Storybeader this week is to talk about what we've been doing this summer. I thought I'd put a little twist on it and tell you what I've got coming up yet this summer :) August is going to be a busy month!

Last night was the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert...and it rocked!!! Here are a few pics I took.

Next weekend we are headed to the Iowa State Fair. We always have so much fun at the fair! Lots of Jesse's family goes and we love to spend time with them :) Here's a great photo of me and Jesse's aunt playing with one of the bands last year...so cool!!!

And then the last weekend of August we are going with Jesse's entire family down to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We are going to spread his grandma's ashes and enjoy being together as a family! He really has a wonderful family and I'm so glad to be a part of it :)

And then comes Labor Day! Another busy time! My hometown has a huge celebration each year complete with a carnival, parade, demolition derby, and all the other goodies that go along with a big celebration. And for us that is usually the end of summer. One final hoorah before we start to think about fall.

I hope everyone reading this has had a wonderful summer and that there are still good times to come :)

Almost Wordless Wednesday-Poor Harley!

I gotta give a shout out to a couple of my teammates today :) Not only do these gals chat with me in the forums, give me great advice and stop by my blog...they also place Custom Orders :) Both of these gals have ordered Custom Name Albums and now they have each placed custom orders in the last week for other items!!! Thanks TiLT and BeadedTail...you're the best :)

TiLT wanted some nice Thank You cards to send with her orders and wanted them to go along with the colors of her business cards. Here's what I came up with:

NEW Simply Stunning Series

Ever since I got my new toy...my Bind-It-All...I've had ideas rushing through my head as to what I can do with it! I have so many fun things I want to try :)

The first type of album I decided to make is something more for the non-scrapbooker. Someone who wanted a stylish way to display their photos, but not necessarily in a scrapbook. And I made it super easy too...photo corners included...and they are all fit for 4"x6" photos. No trimming, no gluing...just a cool way to show off your photos!!!

I have so many others I want to make in this series! I may go on to some of my other ideas and come back to this series so I can get them out of my head and into the works :)

And I just have to show you these cute little Vacation Albums I made recently too :)

The covers started out as passport covers and I turned them into one-of-a-kind scrapbooks :) The red one is more travel/vacation themed and the blue one is beach/vacation themed! It feels so good getting new items in my shop! I love to do custom work, but I also like new projects :) A good mix is always nice!
