Triple Arrow Necklace

It's amazing when and where inspiration will strike. I love seeing things made from other materials and figuring out how I can make them from wood. I did just that recently while visiting the Bubby and Bean Blog. Melissa was wearing a beautiful necklace and I just knew it would look awesome made from wood.

During the design process, I ended up making 3 different designs in the triple arrow style. I started with a simple design, which I'm calling Plain. Then made one with lines to separate each arrow, which I'm calling Basic. And a third design with more detail, which I'm calling Tribal. I love how each one is the same basic design, but have such a different look.

I also love how Melissa gets out and models. (Isn't she cute!) But the rain has been keeping me inside and I wasn't able to get out and get any photos. So I tried using a house plant by a window. You're allowed to laugh at my attempt at modeling...lol! I just wanted to show how long the necklace hangs, so I guess I got that accomplished even if I look goofy in the process.

I got this new design listed in my shop last week and have a few other new designs I hope to list sometime soon. Things have been a little hectic, so I haven't gotten as many new items listed as I would like. Anyone want to volunteer to come take photos, edit photos and list new product for me :)

Your modeling attempt is not in the slightest bit laughable! It's great! A bit of practice and you'll be a real pro!

very cool new design Edi! I love the triple arrow - or even could be chevrons depending on the design!

Awww, thanks so much Edi! That is my favorite necklace and I'm so glad you were inspired by it! I think yours is even cuter. I love the tribal one!

I think you look great! Actually, I thought you must be at the beach or something because of that plant-lol. And you have that "I've just been relaxing at the pool" look. I'm a terrible fail at modeling. My face does the weirdest things once that beeping on my camera starts. Anyway, I love that necklace! I think it will be a huge hit. :)

I actually LIKE your photo! And the new design is great. The tribal is my fave.

I read Bubby & Bean, too. Melissa sports some fun outfits - and moccasins.

I love the new necklace designs! I am not very comfortable modeling either, but getting a picture is better than not having one at all! Best of luck getting more new items listed in the near future.

I love the tribal look. Things have been hectic here too and I wish I had my own personal assistant.

Great necklace and love your modeling job Edi! You look like you're glancing over at the beach and wondering if you should go get in or stay out with the cool necklace on!

LOVE the necklace! And I would've thought you were by the pool or something. You look very beach-y.
