On Friday evening, I decided it was a perfect night for a walk. After all the rain we'd had, I was dying to get out and enjoy the nice weather finally. I decided to drive to town and walk out to the cemetery. It's a great walk, half pavement and half gravel, and not too much traffic.
The sky was blue and everything around me was green. It was just so peaceful and relaxing!
It's great seeing the crops coming up and surviving the rain.
A look back toward town.
And I found these ginormous dandelions. They are about the size of a baseball! So pretty!
I'm hoping to make this a weekly trip on weekends when Jesse has to work.
We only have the tiny dandelions (we call them 'horseflowers'. I like after work walks at the start of the evening to relax.
ReplyDeleteThose dandelion heads are huge! Enjoy the blue skies and sunshine while it lasts :)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such big dandelions!!! I love to photograph them:)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you had such a lovely bright day:)
Holy smokes, dandelions the size of baseballs?! We only get the "regular" kind here, but we get 500 of them so I guess we're even. Haha. I love taking walks on summer evenings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape! I love the dandelion photos. It feels so good to get out and go for a walk when the skies are blue.
ReplyDeleteThe midwest landscape is beautiful! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI love how beautiful and rural it is where you live. So peaceful! And I'm kind of jealous of your super sized dandelions. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes I miss being able to look for miles and see nothing but fields and sky. Looks like you had a great walk.
ReplyDeleteWoah - huge dandelion! They don't really seem to be in Hawaii, so I haven't seen one in quite a while (large or small!)

ReplyDeleteWater towers and green fields! So reminiscent of our home in northern Missouri.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen dandelions this big! Walks like the one you took are so rejuvenating, aren't they?
