Ornament Swap

Back in May I participated in a May Day Swap hosted by Dawn of Candidly Clyde. When I heard that Dawn was also having an Ornament Swap, I knew I wanted to participate again.

I was paired with Charlene from South Korea who sent me this beautiful ornament as well as a fun charm and a handwritten note. The ornament is traditional Korean colors and a common decoration for any time of year.
The charm has a wine bottle on it which Charlene said was to put me in the holiday "spirit" :) My kind of girl!

In return, I sent Charlene one of my wooden ornament. I chose this peacock design as it's one of my favorites and I thought it could be displayed all year long.

I had a lot of fun participating in this swap and look forward to it again next year!
