I was recently asked by a coworker to make a memorial box for his brother. He wanted something special to give his dad to keep his brother's ashes in. I thought it was a wonderful idea and I love that I was asked to create this for him!
I showed it to him last week...and he loved it! I can't wait for his dad to receive it at Christmas so I can hear his response as well :)
I think it turned out awesome!
Though this box was used as a memorial box, it has so much potential!
What about:
-
Keepsake Box
-
Photo Storage Box
-
Pet Keepsake Box (collar, id tag, favorite toy, etc.)
-
Jewelry Box
And I can create these in several sizes to fit any need :)
Amazing. What a lovely remembrance.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I'm sure his dad will be overjoyed with this thoughtful gift.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful idea! amazing work.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that the recipient is happy with his box. It's such a great idea. I love all of your suggestions for different uses. It's wonderful that you can customize the size, too.
ReplyDeleteMy first husband died in 1988. I bet my kids would like one of these to put in little momento's of rememberance of their father i.e. photos, his tie tack, his ring, an empty gun shell, a bookmark he used, etc etc,
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful box and very special, too! I'm happy to see you are doing boxes now.

It's a lovely box Edi! I'm sure it'll be very special for his dad. We have ashes of some of our furbabies in boxes but they aren't personalized so it'd be nice to be able to have their photo, name and date of birth and death on a box for them. Hmmm. I'd also like the idea of using this as a keepsake box.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and special gift. These boxes would be great for all kinds of things.
