Yesterday marked the 4 year anniversary of our sweet Sidney's passing. I can't believe it's really been 4 years!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She was the best big sisfur Harley could ask for :) How many Pomeranians get to beat up on a Rottweiler on a daily basis...LOL! No wonder he thinks he's 7 feet tall!
I was so happy I made sure to get a "family picture" before her passing. This photo isn't the best..the wind was blowing and the sun was in our eyes...but it's a wonderful photo because it's of my family :)
So sweet and sad at the same time...your family photo is so precious. I wish I had some photos of my pets that have crossed the bridge.
ReplyDeleteI love the crossed paw photo! Sorry about your loss.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of your lovely Sidney and fam. I love her crossed paws. They sure make a huge impact on our lives.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. Just because they aren't physically with us doesn't mean they are gone forever. They have given us so many of our favorite memories.
ReplyDeleteThe paws crossed is too cute. That's one of Angel's trademarks, too. It's great that you have those photos to remember Sidney. It is so hard losing pets but it's wonderful to have those memories.
ReplyDeletewhat a cutie! I'm glad you can remember your baby with that sweet family photo.
ReplyDeleteSuch a bittersweet and touching post. We're coming up on the anniversary of our Trooper's death, and this definitely helped to change my perspective on it a little bit! Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely tribute to Sidney. She was a beautiful girl and her crossed paws is so cute! It's wonderful you have a family photo with her too! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful doggie! Yes, the two of them look so sweet together. We have photos all over the house of dogs, instead of children. Our babies! {:-D
ReplyDeleteA blog is the perfect place to reminisce and post photos. Your dog was beautiful, and I'm sure you still miss her.
ReplyDeleteaawww....Sidney looks like such a sweet dog! The family photo is great! great post!
ReplyDeleteHer crossed paws are so sweet! When our beloved dog died unexpectedly last summer, we were all so sad, especially my children. It was their first experience with grief. I told them that with time they would be able to remember the good times without feeling sad. I think it is important to be able to do that.
ReplyDeleteShe looks really gorgeous crossing her paws. Looking at old photos make memories come back to life. I also lost my dog two years ago and having his pictures in our house makes us feel his presence.
