*I wanted to note that he looks like he's in a cage, but this little guy was actually out in our pasture where the cows are. Seems a little late for babies!
How neat! I would love to see things like this more often! I kinda live in the outskirts of the city so we don't have a whole heck of a lot of wildlife going on.
Oh boy ... I should invite you all over to my house! We have half an acre (not much for CT) and we have them roaming through the yard all the time. Come on over ... I'll introduce you!
Ha, you can laugh at my City Person Ineptitude again. I totally thought that was a grown up deer, just one with spots. Maybe a girl deer because it doesn't have antlers.
Sigh. I think I might need nature boot camp or something.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Edi...nice to meet you!

Such a touching baby! I love their huge eyes...
ReplyDeleteI decided to follow your example and posted a wordless picture too, with spotted dogs.
Awww...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe deer are extremely shy over here - they hide deep in the woods, so I rarely get to see any :-/

What a cutie :)
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing cuter than a Bambie!
ReplyDeleteWe had two babies come out in front of our car yesterday...no mom around that we could see which was odd.
ReplyDeleteLove the spots and it looks so much better fed than the one I posted a photo of a few weeks back!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of babies recently too. They make me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! what a cute deer!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot in our neck of the woods too these days :)
Precious!!!
Spotted babies are so cute! I saw a momma with four spotted babies in our neighborhood the other day. They are fun to watch bouncing off!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Your so lucky to see that from your house. I would have to travel for hours :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! We saw lots of young deer when we were in the Dells last month, too, which was surprising.
ReplyDeleteit's so pretty. Lucky you were able to take a photo before it ran away! {:-D
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. What a cute little deer.

does seem a little late, but love seeing it!
ReplyDeleteIt does seem late for babies. He does look like he's been caged. It's such a nice thing to be able to look out from your house and see the wildlife.
