I was recently contacted by a fellow Etsian to create some custom items for her shop. She and her husband make wood rings and they are branching out to local boutiques to showcase their beautiful rings.
Elizabeth and Edward own NorthWoodRings and they asked me to make them some wood items that will help their beautiful rings stand out even more! No one wants boring displays when they can have stunning displays that go so well with their work.
I was asked to make ring tray inserts, wooden binders/folders and ring box inserts.
The first photo above is a standard foam ring display. They work great and make for an inexpensive display option. But when you're selling handmade rings, you want a display as awesome as your product. The second photo shows the ring tray insert I made to sit over the foam. Their business logo is engraved in the lower right corner so everyone will know whose beautiful rings they are looking at when visiting the local boutiques.
The binders will be used to approach new boutiques in hopes of creating new business. I love the idea of a wood binder for a company that sells wood items! How much more professional will they look with these awesome binders as opposed to a plain plastic binder or paper folder! And again, I've engraved their business logo on the front.
The last item is the ring box inserts. The first photo above is the handmade ring boxes that Elizabeth and Edward package their rings in. They wanted a ring insert to finish off the boxes with that final perfect touch.
The great thing about working with Elizabeth and Edward...the more business they do, the more we get to work together! I love building relationships like this! It helps out fellow artists and builds lasting business relationships that benefit us both!
What a great idea, like you said working together only benefits both of you. (BTW, that Northwood ring is awesome!) :) Danica
