Friday Features...On Monday

The end of last week and this past weekend were busy with lots of running around. And my days seemed to get all mixed up and I missed my Friday Features! I have some really cute items picked out and didn't want to miss sharing them, so today I have Friday Features...On Monday.

I got asked last week when I featured my new Tandem Bicycle items if people actually ride these bikes. I'm sure they do. I know one local couple who owns one. But I think the popularity of the tandem bicycle is more about what it stands for. A tandem bicycle requires working together, much like a relationship. They're built for two, just like a relationship. So I think even people who've never ridden a bike like them because they are a symbol of love :)

So here are today's features of Tandem Bicycles

  1. Fun finds! Still don't think my hubby and I should try tandem biking since it probably wouldn't be pretty! Neither would kayaking or home improvement or... :)

  2. I definitely agree with you about the meaning of tandem bikes. All of these items are fabulous. I can't even begin to pick a favorite.

  3. Cute finds! Although plenty of people ride bikes here, I've never seen anyone on a tandem!
I love that fingerprint tree :)

  4. I agree with you about the symbolism! I don't think I've ever ridden one, but they're so cute. And that t-shirt made me laugh. :-)

  5. These are cool! The guy who makes the wire tandem bike makes other bikes as well.
I ride a bike and I definitely see people riding tandem. It's a small percentage, though.
LOL what Sharla said. I think my hubby and I are in the same boat so to speak. We know from experience that canoeing together doesn't work out too well for us.

  6. These picks are so fun! Jim and I will have to try renting a tandem bike someday. I am not sure if I would enjoy it or not. LOL

  7. Wow, I'm impressed by that wire cake topper! That intricate wire work must take a lot of skill and patience, especially on such a small scale!

  8. I'm a bit behind on my blog visiting. Loved seeing this post. As we were driving home from breakfast this morning I saw two people riding on one of those bikes. I think that's the first time I've ever seen that except in pictures!
