Scrapbook Tool/Toy Wish List

I've officially found my next tool/toy I want to buy!!! The only question is...can I make myself wait?
This super-awesome gadget will make things so much easier in my world! Right now there isn't a cutter on the market that will cut through my heavy chipboard very well. I have to score it with a cutter and then hand cut everything with my xacto knife. It works, but it's not a very ideal process! In 4 easy swipes of the blade, the Zutter Kutter will cut through my chipboard with no problem!!!
Now to the waiting part! It is available for preorder right now! And I'm so tempted to just go ahead and buy it! The only problem is the price tag: $170.00! I know if I can make myself wait until April, my wholesaler will have it available and I can order it much cheaper from them. What's a girl to do? Can I make myself wait and save some money? You'll be the first ones to know...because you can guarantee I'll be blogging about it the minute it's in my hands!!!

NEW Simply Stunning Series

Ever since I got my new toy...my Bind-It-All...I've had ideas rushing through my head as to what I can do with it! I have so many fun things I want to try :)
The first type of album I decided to make is something more for the non-scrapbooker. Someone who wanted a stylish way to display their photos, but not necessarily in a scrapbook. And I made it super easy too...photo corners included...and they are all fit for 4"x6" photos. No trimming, no gluing...just a cool way to show off your photos!!!
Here are the first 4 albums in the series:
I have so many others I want to make in this series! I may go on to some of my other ideas and come back to this series so I can get them out of my head and into the works :)
And I just have to show you these cute little Vacation Albums I made recently too :)
The covers started out as passport covers and I turned them into one-of-a-kind scrapbooks :) The red one is more travel/vacation themed and the blue one is beach/vacation themed! It feels so good getting new items in my shop! I love to do custom work, but I also like new projects :) A good mix is always nice!
Wanna win a Pink Vacation Album like the blue one above? See this post to find out how!

I ♥ New Toys...I mean Tools :)

One of the things I love most about scrapbooking is that the "tools" made for the craft end up being like "toys" to me. I just love to play with all of them. They serve the purpose of tools, but I get the joy of playing with a toy from them :)
Wanna see my newest toy? It's a Bind-It-All from Zutter Innovative Products!!! And it's even pink...isn't it cute!
The bind it all is a machine that punches holes for the purpose of making scrapbooks, journals, notebooks, etc. It has several guides on it to keep everything aligned and even has a special setting for inside pages so they are just a touch smaller to fit inside the covers. They make special metal rings called OWires that you slide through the holes and then the machine clamps them down to create perfect binding every time! And it punches through more than just paper! It will cut heavy chipboard, thin metal, acrylic, and just about any material under 1/8" thick!!!
And I know you wanna see my first creation with my new toy...don't ya :) This is a custom creation for a photographer. Mandi at Rock~n~Royalty Photography wanted something unique to put her proofs in when she handed them out to clients. And this is what I came up with...
I just love how it turned out! And Sharla at Beaded Tail gave me the great idea to make these in several different themes. Not everyone wants a scrapbook-style album, but they still want something unique and special to put their photos in. I think I will make more of these in Family, Friends, Pets, etc. with light embellishments and photo corners ready for your photos! Thanks for the great idea Sharla!!!
What's your favorite crafty tool?
