This Sunday will mark the beginning of Ragbrai 39! What is Ragbrai you ask...The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state. Heading into its 39th year, RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world. Des Moines Register Media has been the title sponsor of RAGBRAI since 1973.
In honor of the event, I went searching on Etsy for some great Ragbrai and bicycle finds. What a great selection there is!

I wondered what that was since I hadn't heard of Ragbrai before. Sounds like quite an event! Hope all goes well for all the riders if there's still a heat wave there. Great finds too!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been on any bike tours this summer - we're all waiting for some warmer weather!
Happy Friday :)
sounds great! I cannot imagine being on a bike in the middle of this summer but then I am a wimp:)
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of Ragbrai. It seems like an awesome event. I don't think that I would ever like to participate but I think that it is awesome nonetheless. Those are great bike finds! Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
ReplyDeleteI was so trying to figure out the initials before reading the answer. Lol - never would have figured that one out.
ReplyDeleteNice bicycle finds.
That sounds like it would be so much fun! You'd really have to train for that but it would be so worth it and have a comfy bike seat.
ReplyDeleteCute finds, especially the first one!
that's neat! My boss would know about this - he's a big cycling fan. I like that necklace, bike. To the point! Hoping you enjoy the whole weekend off {:-D
ReplyDeletecute finds! i really like that teal bike necklace. it would have fit in with my blog post today too!
ReplyDeleteI bought my husband, father and brother one of those wallets from that Etsy shop this past Christmas. :) My dad has always been an avid biker, my husband too. He even built his own bike several years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat bike picks! RAGBRAI came through both North Liberty (where we lived) and Mechanicsville (where I worked) during the summer of 2008 so we got to experience it up close. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't ride, but I love to watch bike races! Nice finds!!
ReplyDeleteBeen watching the Tour De France. Did not know about Ragbrai...very nice bike finds Edi:):) Have a great weekend:)
ReplyDeletegreat bicycle items! I have a friend who did the RAGBRAI last year. I'm sure it would be fun if one was in shape.
ReplyDeleteI do love riding my bike, but have been too busy/it's been too hot for this Summer so far :(
