Friday Features - Ruby Red

My mom's birthday is just around the corner! Though I love my diamonds, I have to admit that I've always been jealous of July's rubies! My mom has a beautiful ruby ring that I hope to inherit one day (many, many years down the road!).
Today's finds are for all the July babies out there :)

  1. I love rubies.
My mom gave me a bracelet with little rubies which I cherish and hardly wear, because I'm afraid of losing it!

  2. Great finds! Lots of July birthdays in my family -- but all boys. Love the ring.

  3. I'm jealous of just about every other month! I'm a December, so I got stuck with blue zircon and/or turquoise. Not a fan of either one.

    That ring is gorg. Want!

  4. Lovely examples of fine rubies. I am a blue or purple stone lover...but agree that diamonds go with everything!

  7. My stone is garnet but I would prefer RUBY!!

My mom has one of those vintage ruby roosters made of glass. The basket reminded me of it.

  12. OOOh, I love Rubies! I just started using them in my beading for earring clusters. They are such a pretty rich red. I do also love the basket! I have one my Mom gave me that I use each spring as a vase for all the pretty flowers in the yard. It is just so cheery!

  13. Ruby is such an amazing color and stone! I hope to own a big gorgeous ruby someday! How wonderful it will be to inherit your mom's ring when the time comes.
