Bargain Shopper

I'm not one to go shopping often. In fact most days, I hate shopping. Especially clothes shopping! And jeans shopping is the worst! I'm not complaining about having long legs, but when it comes to buying jeans, it does not make for a fun day.
But the other day I broke down and went shopping. Kohl's is generally my store of choice...good clothes, great prices. And, I had a 30% off coupon! So I went on a little winter shopping spree :)

I got three pair of new jeans. My go to jeans are boot cut...if I can find them long enough. And I broke down and bought my first pair of skinny jeans. I know, only like 2 years behind the trend, right :) But I love that it doesn't matter if they're too short...cover them up with cute boots and no one will ever know!

I also got some essentials like long sleeved tshirts and some pullovers...great for working around the house in.

I also got 4 new sweaters for getting a little dressier. Yes, jeans and a nice sweater is dressy to me...lol :)

Wanna know the best part about this whole trip...my entire bill was under $200! And, I got $30 back in store credit, so I ordered a new pair of boots for under $30!
Do you enjoy clothes shopping? What great bargains have you scored recently?

  1. Yes... I love clothes shopping! I hate trying on clothes, though, probably because I usually have a 3 year old with me that makes it challenging! and I can relate to your long leg woes! Makes jean shopping a chore.

  2. Wow, that is a great haul for under $200! I'm also a big fan of bargain shopping (which is why I love H&M!). I haven't done a ton of shopping at Kohl's but I think I need to check it out after seeing this. :)

  8. Awesome deals!!! I used to love shopping until the last few years. Since I became busier work wise I only want to spend my free time doing something relaxing. Most of my shopping is now done online. I know which brands fit well and I can find great, time saving deals online! Enjoy your new winter wardrobe!

  9. Those are great deals Edi! Your work at home clothes look like mine! :) Only mine are covered with white cat hair! I have short legs that certainly aren't skinny so I'm hoping that trend goes away!

  10. Nice choices! Mom and I always go to Kohl's for Black Friday because she gets an extra percentage off with her credit card.

  11. You sure do know how to shop! Love the sweaters. I personally like jeans and a pretty sweater too. I would have had to buy a purse too though!

  12. I love Kohl's!!! They're such a great place to get bargains. I can see how having long legs must get annoying because I am short and all the 'regular' clothes don't fit me, either.

  13. Ugh, I hear you with the jeans! Why don't stores understand that tall people want to have warm ankles?!

The reason I switched over to skinny jeans is that they're easier to find long, and if they DO get a little on the short side, I can just wear them with flats and play them off as ankle-length. I started doing it about 6 years ago, as soon as I started seeing them in stores, and my life has been SO much easier, haha.

  14. Great bargains! Kohl's is one of my favorite places to shop, too. In fact, I was there this afternoon, spending my own Kohl's bucks. :-)
