I've had an unwritten goal for quite some time to get 100 items listed in my shop. I've been in the 80s and 90s for a few months now and finally reached the "magical 100"!
The theory behind the "magical 100" is that the more items you have in your store, the more you're getting your product seen and the more exposure you'll have. Then, if everything goes as planned, more listings will equal more sales :)
Since I've started thinking of more and more ways to to use the wood I have on hand, I've come up with TONS of new ideas for listings! You've seen my new jewelry (with lots more to come!) and my wine charms.
Next on the list will be magnets, key chains and hair pins! I also have cuff links and buttons in the works!
Thanks to everyone who has made suggestions for new items! I have several of them in the works and plan to do a post dedicated to your awesome ideas!
Have you hit the "magical 100"? Or do you have a different goal for your shop listings?
Did you see an increase in sales when you hit your "magical number"?
Love it all! Good work at getting to 100! :) Danica
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Love the magnets :)
ReplyDeleteYour ideas are all wonderful! Those hairpins are really cute :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 items - I'm happy I have at least 50!
Congrats on the 100! Do you know if it actually works? I'll eventually get there... I think I have 67 at this point. But there are so many scents out there, I'm sure I'll hit it soon!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!
ReplyDeleteGreat new product ideas. All perfect stocking stuffers!
I did hit 100. I'm currently at 107. Will try to maintain through the holidays and beyond.
(I fell below that mark for a few days after the October craft show.) Sales have increased, but I'm not sure if it is due to the "magic" number or just a seasonal increase.
Whatever the reason, I'm very happy to see more sales.
Congrats on reaching another goal, even if it wasn't written down! I love the designs on the hair pins.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you're able to use material you already have on hand! Congrats on 100, I celebrated when I got to 50 and have yet to go above that!
ReplyDeleteCute stuff as always! I've never hit the magical 100. I think the closest I ever got was 75. And now I'm below 60. I'm gonna try to add as much as I can before holidays though! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100 items Edi! I got as high as 145 I think and don't really know if my sales increased or not. Some things get lost on the back pages so it's hard to tell but it's always better to have more to choose from I think!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the new products you come up with! I love those woodland designs.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on reaching this milestone! I hope that it bring you even more sales. Magnets and hair pins have done really well for me at shows and hope that they do for you, too. Of course I look forward to seeing your buttons as well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I love the wine charms. I'll have to start working like a maniac to reach.... 40!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! congratulations in listing quality items, too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't hit the magical 100, and I've barely gotten over 60! So big congrats to you! All your new items are always so wonderful. I love magnets, and I can't wait to see your cuff links. =0)

I do think there is something to be said for the magical 100. It's a nice amount in terms of offering variety, but it's not SO many that people get overwhelmed. (Ever seen a jewelry shop with 800 items? I have. It makes my eyeballs tired.)
ReplyDeleteYay for reaching your goal!
Congratulations on meeting the magical 100 Edi!!!! It is so true about the more listings you have, the more traffic you have. I find that every time I add new inventory my sales increase so it really does make a difference. The more different types of items you add will bring even more traffic!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your different and unique listings! You seem to have a never-ending list of new ideas coming!
