Holiday Shoppers are Here

If you're still working on listing items for the holidays, I encourage you to get them listed soon. Holiday shoppers are out there they are ready to buy! As a shop owner, I really appreciate these early birds :) I've already started selling several ornaments, so I decided to list a couple new options to my shop. Per usual, these both came from custom requests and I thought they were too great not to add for others.

 I'm loving this little Mason Jar Ornament. I've had several other mason jar items in my shop for a while now, but never thought to make an ornament until the custom request came in. I've been seeing lots of rustic Christmas decor this year, so I think these are spot on.

And I've made four IronMan Ornaments for the same buyer over the last two years and decided that this might be something that others would enjoy. Turns out I was right as I've already sold two more of these to other buyers since listing them last week!

Friday Features - Mason Jars

Which is your favorite?

New Button Designs

I've been working on a handful of new button designs. Along with some custom options, I also wanted to create some designs for the fall and winter seasons.

 I know a lot of crafters use my buttons on knit and crocheted items, so these pumpkin and snowflake designs will be perfect. I can see them adorning knitted hats and scarves.

As we all know, handmade items are always Made With Love. These buttons are great for any time of year and on any style of project. A great way to leave your mark :)

 

 

And mason jars continue to remain popular. I had a lot of fun making these buttons and decided to make some magnets while I was at it. I've got a few of these on my fridge already and I love them :)

Friday Features - Fall Weddings

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, last weekend I attended a beautiful fall wedding. Everything was decorated with fall colors, mason jars with a little bit of pink thrown in :) The ceremony was outside and the wedding was in an building in the back yard.

Today's features are items that remind me of the wedding and would be great at any outdoor or fall wedding. Enjoy :)

Bridal Shower Gifts

Over the weekend I attended a bridal shower for my cousin's fiancé. The theme for the shower was all kitchen related. We were asked to bring a recipe along with things  that could be used in the kitchen to make the recipe.

I always like to give personalized items when I can and I love giving handmade gifts. So this shower was perfect. My mom had the idea to give one of my Recipe for a Happy Marriage Cutting Boards personalized with their names. And I gave a set of Mr & Mrs Mason Jars with their last name and wedding date.

The bride-to-be even opened our gifts first and loved them both! The cutting board was perfect for the kitchen themed shower. And they're having an outdoor wedding and decorating with mason jars, so I knew the mason jars would be a perfect gift.

Friday Features - Trending, Mason Jars

As I've told you guys before, I'm not usually a trendy person. But certain trends are just too cute to be ignored (hello mustaches!). And mason jars are one of those trends I just can't get enough of! I love working with them myself and I love all the fun ideas others come up with!

This week I listed both a new Mason Jar Recipe Book as well as a new set of Mr & Mrs Etched Mason Jars.

So for today's features I have mason jars :)

Prom Mason Jars

Last week I introduced my new mason jar designs. I also recently had the opportunity to work with a local school to create their prom mementos. The theme was "Kickin' it in the Sticks", so the mason jars were a perfect fit!

I had to do a little work to the original design before I could get started. A local artist drew the original design that they used for signs and t-shirts. The only problem was, it was too busy for the mason jars. I have about 2.5" in width to work with, so the design was overwhelming on the glass. I scanned the design into my software and from there was able to remove many of the images and leave the piece I wanted to work with. I moved around the wording a little as well to make it fit the format of the glass.

The end design includes the original wording to match as well as the fire from the original drawing. I received word after the prom that the kids loved the mason jars!

I know when I went to prom we received champagne flutes. Sure they were neat, but I've never done anything with them and I'm sure they'll eventually get thrown away or recycled. But the mason jars are so great. Not only are they perfect for drinking out of (obviously), but they can also hold pens/pencils when the kids go to college. They also make cute little rustic vases too :)

New Glassware

I'm always looking for new ways to expand on my existing lines. I feel that you don't have the recreate the wheel when adding new items to your shop. Looking at your existing lines can be just as beneficial. I recently added 3 new glassware items to my Wedding Section.

These Vegas Shot Glasses were a special request and I just love how they turned out! What a fun way to make your Vegas wedding, vacation or other celebration even more special!

These Personalized Mason Jars were also a special request. The bride had ordered wine glasses for the bridal party and wanted something special (and appropriate) for the flower girls and ring bearers. The mason jars are perfect!

 

My Personalized Beer Mugs have done really well for groomsman gifts. I recently had a groom with a special request for a more formal design. This fun design and monogram came together nicely and the groom couldn't have been happier.

I still have a couple new designs for flutes and more shot glasses that I hope to have listed soon as well. Keep your eyes open for more new designs!
