Featured on Something Turquoise

I'm so excited to announce that my Batman Cuff Links were featured on the wedding website called Something Turquoise!

 Something Turquoise features stories about couples who had DIY weddings, shares DIY projects for weddings and also features Etsy wedding artists.

A couple who purchased a set of my cuff links was featured on the site and my cuff links got an awesome shout out!

I'm still considering whether to advertise or not, but the site looks like a lot of fun and I wanted to share it with other wedding sellers who are looking for advertising opportunities.

The Power of the Handwritten Word

I'm so excited to announce that I was recently featured on the Etsy Blog!!! My Handwritten Cutting Boards were featured along with other sellers who use handwriting in their pieces. The article touches upon how special handwriting is in the digital world.

Bead Chat Magazine

I recently had the opportunity to work with the Artisan Whimsy team who publishes the Bead Chat Magazine. My friend and fellow BBA member, Cynthia of Antiquity Travelers saw my post about my new wooden buttons and thought they be perfect for their 5x5 test group. The group was working with leather this month and thought the wooden buttons would be a great complement.

I must say, I am totally blown away by the Bead Chat Magazine! 100 pages of colorful, content rich-articles. This magazine should be in print it's so pretty!

And I was blown away at what the artists made with my buttons. I love all the different techniques each artist used to incorporate the buttons into their work.

And I cannot say enough nice things about the editors at the magazine. I was thrilled to be asked to contribute my wooden buttons and I was even more thrilled when I saw the article and the wonderful full-page feature they gave me as well!

 

Thank you to both Cynthia (lead editor) and Melinda (founder & chief) for allowing me to participate in the 5x5 test group and I look forward to contributing again!

A Paper Proposal

I was recently contacted by the website A Paper Proposal to let me know that one of my wedding couples had their wedding featured on their site. And I was lucky enough to be mentioned as a vendor and have a photo of my guest book featured in one of the photos!

Not only was that part really cool, Sarah, the owner of the site also offered me a free month of advertising! I love when sites offer a chance to try out their advertising first. It gives you the chance to see what type of traffic you'll get and see if you want to continue service with them. I was even able to try out the upgraded vendor listing which allowed me to add 8 photos along with my logo and business information.

 

I'm only 6 days in and I've already seen some traffic. I'll be sure to let you know how the month goes and my thoughts on the site.

FEATURED - Etsy Wedding Email

I'm so excited!!! Yesterday I was featured in the Etsy Wedding Email!!!

First the Front Page and now the Email...somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming :)

And again, it was my Wood Wedding Invitation to be featured! Why didn't I list these sooner!?!

I guess changing my first photo to the close up really did the trick :)

I have to thank Erika again for letting me know about the feature! She's also the one that saw me on the front page :)

The Front Page and the Etsy Finds/Emails are two things I wanted to accomplish this year and look at me go...I've already got them both under my belt.

 Dare I dream to be a Featured Seller this year too!!!

Etsy seller MyKnittingWorld was kind enough to feature my Custom Name Guest Book in her Rose Treasury!

It doesn't matter how many treasuries I am in...each message I receive letting me know I've been featured puts a huge smile on my face :) It's such a nice complement when someone likes my items well enough to choose them for one of their 16 slots. With all the choices Etsy has to offer, it really does make me happy :) And to be featured in a PINK treasury...now that really made my day!!!

Monday Morning Surprise!

We got home from the lake yesterday...and of course had a wonderful time! I'll post about that later and get some pics up :)

Featured EtsyBlogger...ME!!!

You don't know how excited I was to open the email yesterday to find out that I am this month's Featured EtsyBlogger!!! It totally made my day! I had to do a little happy dance for myself...lol :)

Being part of the EtsyBloggers Team is so much fun! We share our newest listings, our latest blog posts, talk about our days, help each other with problems, and just listen :) I have made many wonderful friends through the EtsyBloggers!

I guess since I'm the featured blogger...I'll feature a few of my favorite items...LOL!

Of course my Custom Name or Word Albums are my all-time fave! They are so much fun to make and each one is so personal :)

And my Flip Flop Albums are something I'm pretty proud of...they're just so unique! I've even started making them as Guest Books!

And I think every baby...and mother...needs one of my Baby's First Year Photo Album Calendar! All the work is done...just add your notes and your photos and you have a forever keepsake :)

Just here to toot my own horn a little today :)

Yesterday, two of my items were featured on the front page of shophandmade.com!!! Now I know this is still a new site and I've been on the front page before...but 2 items! Super exciting :) My Mickey Mouse Flip Flop Album was chosen along with my Baby Girl's First Year Calendar Album!

Also yesterday...my I(HEART)YOU Word Album was chosen to be featured on My Shopping Connection's IndieSpotting! Yeah :)

This is such a pick-me-up and gets me in the mood to get scrappin' :)

Featured EtsyBlogger: bfbeads

The wonderful Jen is the owner of two shops: Baby Friendly Beads and Mamas Magic Studio. Of course she also has a blog at Mama's Magic. I just envy anyone who can run two shops and still find time to blog...oh yeah, and have a life too :) Here are some of my favorites from her shops: Dorothy Baby Friendly Beads Reminder Bracelet I just love these colors together!
