Still in Love with Purple and Brown

I am still so excited that I came across this beautiful color combo and love using it in my scrapbooks. I showed you some Custom Albums I had made with this color combo and now I have added them into my Premade Albums as well!!! Purple and Brown 4x6 Memories Photo Album Purple and Brown Family Word Album I think the next scrapbook layout I do for myself will have to include these colors as well! What color combo are you loving right now?

One Album - Three Looks

Color is such a powerful tool! Each color has certain traits associated with them that spark certain feelings when you see them. For instance, red is associated with love and power while yellow is associated with energy and happiness.

I thought it was pretty cool how the exact same album can take on such different looks when completed using different color combos.

This is why I like to get as much info about the album recipient when making a custom album. I want the album to be perfect for the photos that will accompany it :)

Dream Room

I came across this advertisement in a scrapbook magazine and completely fell in love! Does this room not scream Edi!!!

Okay, it might not be very practical...table is too small, not even close to enough paper racks, etc. But it just looks like it needs me sitting in it :)

I would love to repaint and decorate my scrapbook room...and this ad might just be the inspiration behind it!!!

Aqua and Orange

A couple of weeks ago I told you about a great new color combo I'd come up with...aqua and orange! I was so excited when I saw these colors sitting together on my scrap table and just had to make an album using them! Here's what I came up with:

This one will be going to my craft show with me this weekend, but if it doesn't sell...you'll see it in my Etsy Shop soon! And if it sells...I'll definitely be making more :)

Color Inspiration

I love finding new color combos for my scrapbooks :) Putting new combinations together makes everything new again!

The other day I was sitting at my scrapbook table and looked over at some cardstock I had laying around from a couple of different projects I had finished earlier in the day. To my surprise...there was the perfect new color combo staring back at me :)

I have a couple of Friends Word Albums with this new color combo started and will be sure to show them to you when I'm done :)
