Back to School - BBA Challenge

This month's Blogging Business Artisans Challenge theme is brought to us by Erika of Artful Rising. Our theme is Back to School: Back to school supplies, clothes, accessories, art, anything related to the back to school madness!

I love to find ways to use up supplies that are left from other projects. When I make my guest books, I get three pieces of paper that I use as my pages from them, but I'm also left with a 5.375"x5.375" piece as well as a 3"x5.375" piece as well. My mini notebooks are perfect for using up the smaller left over pieces!

I came up with 4 new designs for this challenge as I thought they'd all make cute notebooks to send the kids back to school with.

This Live Out Loud Notebook would have been perfect for me when I was in school :)

And the Bright Ideas Notebook is great for any student...young or old :)

Now if I could just figure out what to do with the 5.375" square pieces! Any suggestions?

New Business Items

I have slowly been adding new Etsy Business Items to my etsy shop. I have added some 2x2 Earring Cards, 2x3 Earring Cards, Thank You Notecards and Business Card Notebooks. These are all items that fellow Etsy Sellers can use to help their business :) And I have even more ideas for when my laser cutter/engraver gets up and running! I've put together a slideshow of the new items. And of course you can see them in My Shop as well!

A New Section in My Shop

I've been wanting to add promotional items to my etsy shop for quite some time and have finally gotten it done!!! Well, I've gotten started at least :) The first new promo item in my shop are these cute and useful Business Card Notebooks! They are great for handing out at craft shows, sending out with orders and leaving in places you know people will see and use them! These notebooks make your business card more memorable because they will be seen over and over again each time the notebook is used! Question: I added these as a listing for 25...Do you think this is a good quantity? Should I add a few different options (10, 25, 50, 100)? Any other comments/suggestions are very much welcomed :)

Friday Features-Back to School

School is officially underway here in my home town. I think it gets earlier and earlier every year! I'm just glad my school days are over for a while! (That is until I get ambitious enough to finish my MBA!) I still enjoy shopping for school supplies though! I can't pass up a crisp clean notebook or cool pen! I remember all the kids having personalized pencils with their names on them. I was never lucky enough to find one that said Edi...why oh why did I have to have such a strange name...LOL :) That's the great thing about Etsy...You can get any name you want! Today's finds all have a school theme...and are personalized!!!

I did have a wonderful Easter celebrating with my family :) We got together at my grandparent's house (as we always do) and ate lunch and told stories. Time with family is always wonderful!

But I'm more excited to show you my new listing! I've been getting ready for craft shows and working on custom albums that I haven't had a new listing in a while! I've been dying to use this cute cupcake paper ever since I bought it and I just couldn't resist using the hot pink index cards I've had in my stash! They were meant for each other :)

Cute as a Cupcake

Customer inspiration strikes again!!! I love getting custom requests and letting my mind go wild! For this super cute cupcake book, my customer wanted something that guests could sign at her daughter's cupcake themed birthday. A guest book...but with a special twist :)

Of course in making this book, my mind started wandering to other similar items I could make. I would love to add shaped notebooks to my shop this year. How cute would a cupcake notebook be! How about an owl...or a robot! Oh...there goes my mind again!

ToDo...or Not ToDo

If you're like me, one of your New Year's Resolutions every year is to be better organized! This year I'm hoping to make that a little easier for you :)
