I didn't get an update done about my journal this week. Things have been crazy and I haven't had time to photograph my latest entries. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to complete #23 and blog about a favorite item from my swap mate's shop :)
Let me tell you...it's always hard to choose favorites! And Erika makes so many cute things! I chose to blog about one of Erika's dolls.
Chloe is not only my favorite because of her fun patterns and great colors. She's also my favorite because of her story and what she represents :) You can read Chloe's story here. And Erika donates part of her proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Chloe is beautiful both inside and out...this is why she is my favorite :)
Erika's dolls are lovely and Chloe is extra special because of her story. It's easy to see why she's your favorite!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Edi! Chloe's parents moved from their house and bought another down the street. I have not talked to them but my Mom says that it was just too hard to be in the same house. Now they are making new memories in a new house:)
ReplyDeleteI just love the story behind it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think this is how handmade products are on a different league from mass produced things, they have a story from its creator, and they deserve to be told.
Erika makes some wonderful items! And you're right. This doll IS special!
