A Quiet and Productive Weekend

Ahhhh...quiet and productive, the best kind of weekend :)
After running errands Friday morning, I didn't leave the house again all weekend...and that was just fine with me! I got a lot accomplished and enjoyed the quite time at home :) It rained all day Saturday which was very welcome after months with no rain.

I got caught up on glass orders including these flutes above. There were a special request which I'll be adding to my shop soon. I thought the dress design was a fun idea and perfect for the bridesmaids!

I also got a fun order from a local customer I met at a show early last year. She designs jewelry and wanted more of my pendants. She also ordered some smaller wood discs for matching connectors. I'll have to see if she'll email me some photos of her beautiful work. She calls these "Edi Drops" and I think that's so fun!
(Sorry for the terrible photo, I took it more for future reference for myself and didn't think about putting it on the blog until now!)

Friday and Saturday night we had movie night on the couch and ordered pizza for Saturday. It doesn't get much better than that :)

  1. I love quiet and productive days :)
How fun to collaborate with a jewelry designer - I'd love to see how she incorporates your pretty wood pendants!!

  2. I had a fairly productive weekend too. I cleaned up my work area and I posted my first pattern on my blog. I also started on a new bag I'm making for my shop. I also worked. It's been rainy and cold all weekend here in Charlottesville. I really like those pendants. Super cute!

  3. Would love to see her work, too. Love those pendants!

Just a small shower during the night here... I'd love a good downpour, but I'm sure it's coming.

  4. We had a quiet weekend with rain, too, except we got it on Sunday. There's still water all over the sunroom floor. Womp, womp!

    Those pendants are cute!

  5. Wow, Edi, that's the ultimate compliment when another artist wants to use your pieces for their own work! How cool!

  6. Your quiet weekends are way more productive than mine! That's pretty cool that someone is using your pendants in her jewelry!

  7. I Love how you put the black in the glass to make the design show! Brilliant. Of course, I love all of your work. Mom

  8. What a great weekend! I'm hoping to get a few more of those at home weekends this next month. I love the dress idea for the glass, and the pendants are beautiful. I hope that the jewelry designer does sent you some photos of her work.

  9. Sounds like a lovey and productive weekend, my favorite kind. I love the pendants they are so beautiful, and how fun she named them after you. I hope your week is just as wonderful.

  10. great wooden pendants. I didn't know they were already sold! What a cute name for them! {:-D

  11. Edi, I love what you've done with these pendants! I don't know how big they are, but I wonder if you could do a smaller version and sell them as zipper pulls for bags and purses. I bet they'd sell!

Thanks for stopping by!
I love your comments!!!
