A couple weeks ago I blogged about some wooden medallions I had made for a marathon. When I ordered these log slices, I also ordered larger ones for plaques as well. And before I could even get them listed, I had 2 requests for photo plaques with these larger logs!
Both photos were of outdoors men which I thought was very fitting for these rustic plaques. The first was of a fisherman with a nice catch.
The second was a young boy with his first deer. How exciting!
I just love how rustic and natural these plaques are. As these are real tree slices, each one is unique and truly one-of-a-kind. My favorite kind of work :)
Wow! This is such a good and exiting present... I know that for a hunters ( like my husband) it can be a good Christmas present!
ReplyDeletevery cool idea Edi!
ReplyDeleteI like the rustic look of those plaques!
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect for the sportsmen in our lives! Very cute. I also love the cutting boards below. The apron is my favorite and I think you'll probably sell a lot of them!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I love the rugged type things being put on these plaques.
ReplyDeletePerfect for a lodge. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat man-cave item!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! So fitting for hunters to mark their big accomplishments.
ReplyDeleteThese look lovely but I must admit I would struggle to make these myself. I really hate animal hunting and the idea of commemorating such unnecessary suffering and slaughter wouldn't sit well with me. I could imagine camping trip photos looking fantastic on these though :)
